Disneyland

Our trip to Disneyland was a raving success. Luckily, Ron went with us and we used his Achilles tendon injury for all its worth!! We got to the front of the line and ended up riding more rides than I ever have in such a short time at DL. I think we got in the park just after 9 AM and left around 6 PM.

Here's a list of the rides (in approx. order):
  • Space Mountain
  • Matterhorn
  • Buzz Lightyear - I got the highest score out of everyone!! See below!
  • Star Tours
  • Pirates of the Carribbean - saw the new Johnny Depp add-ons and the Davy Jones - I liked them!
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Winnie the Pooh
  • Jungle Cruise
  • Indiana Jones
  • Big Thunder Mountain
  • Pinocchio's Adventure
  • Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
  • Snow White's Scary Adventure
  • Peter Pan
  • Alice in Wonderland
  • It's a Small World
  • Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
  • Enchanted Tiki Room

We stopped a couple times to eat and I finally ate at the Bengal Barbecue! Just in time before they change it to a different eatery. I ordered the bacon wrapped asparagus and the banyan skewer.

shoehorn Snow White's Scary Adventures into the Fantasyland section and I think you'll have it.

wow. really is a lot when you look at it all in a list! how many steps/miles for the day did we end up with?

did you end up running over to DCA for the sourdough?

It's in there now! I will have to check the pedometer. Last time I remember checking I was about to hit 14K steps for the day which isn't too many, but still a lot. If we had stayed til the fireworks, it easily could've been near 20K.

Yeah, considering that we sat around 15 minutes waiting for the corndogs to open and then sat and ate and chatted, then ate at Bengal Barbecue, I think we spent at least 1 1/4 hours eating. Plus we spent a little time browsing in the stores, so all those rides were crammed into like 6-7 hours!

Nah, I was already running late. Next time though. I never would've tried it if you hadn't brought it that time. That bread is the best!!! I love it!
