Measuring cups

I work in the aerospace industry and the standard in this industry is to shutdown for the week between Christmas and New Year's. So this year, I did something I normally do not do during the normal year. I went to the mall and did some shopping!

This should be under one of those old "I confess" posts...

I confess... that I love measuring cups. I own three sets of normal measuring cups (two stainless steel, one plastic set). So when I saw these measuring cups at Williams-Sonoma, I knew I had to have them.

Odd Size Measuring Cups

And if you look closely, you'll see they come in the best sizes!!!

I was so excited! They were normally $16.00, but on sale for $11.99! I was happy to buy them! The best part is, I already knew that I wanted them before I saw them! I had emailed my sister Dawn to let her know that I would love to receive a 3/4 measuring cup for Christmas. I was aiming too low! I never even thought of getting a 2/3 and 1 1/2 measuring cup!

She had no idea where to purchase one and neither did I. Well now we know! Williams-Sonoma. They don't have it listed on their website, but I found it in their store in case you too are interested in purchasing a set!

In case you're curious, I have already used the 1 1/2 cup and 3/4 cup. :-)

Oooooh, they're so pretty! One of my biggest weaknesses is buying kitchen stuff. I have to keep myself out of Williams & Sonoma. I have a weakness for their beautiful cookbooks when they go on sale. Even though I don't often use a cookbook, I still buy them if they have pretty pictures. I may just have to check and see if our W & S has any of those measuring cups. I NEED some.

Hi Carolyn,
I saw my friend Shane on Sunday and she's already purchased some! Apparently, you can find a set online at the WS website, but it's the All-Clad model and they are $24 (on sale) for the set. She bought hers in the store and they only had the All-Clad available.
